The most wanted brand of cars has arguably always been Mercedes. One of the reasons for this is undoubtedly the constant innovations that it has offered. Mercedes AMG GT Concept is no exception to this. The design of the car brings it closer to the category of sedans as it has four doors like SLS AMG and AMG GT.

The luxurious Mercedes AMG GT Concept has the vibe of a sports car with features like fascias on both ends and windshields that are unique to sports car usually. Many of the other features are also identical to the AMG GT that came earlier. The luggage area at the back of the car has been made more spacious in this new design which makes it more suitable for practical use.

The makers of the car have paid great attention to little details that make sure this one stands out. The lighting used, for example, uses an innovative feature of nano-active fibre technology lamps which are backed by rod lights. There are small cameras installed for exterior mirrors, something not many cars would offer.

The use of carbon fibre in the structure enables the luxurious car to stay at an acceptable weight. The shiny bronze callipers better known as AMG Carbon Ceramic are signature to the series. The engine is 4.0 litre V8 with an electric motor attached to the rear wheels. The output is around 805bhp, and the torque distribution is well balanced as well.

There are 3 modes of operations to choose from namely electric, gasoline and a combination of both. The battery is charged as you drive as well as while braking. All said and done, the best part about Mercedes AMG GT Concept is that it can jump from zero to 60mph in less than three seconds. The makers have said that newer versions of the car can also be expected shortly.
